Uncomplicated delight. It sounds easy doesn’t it?
Uncomplicated delight can be a delightful day, or an immediate moment of delight.
The dictionary defines delight as great pleasure.
I don’t know that delight always comes easily. We are busy and distracted with
the daily noise of life. Delight may require a little bit of effort
That’s exactly why I decided to look for Uncomplicated Delight. It’s as simple
as that, you have to make the tiniest effort
to look for delight.
One of the most underrated skills is the ability
to ignore your mood and look for Uncomplicated Delight.
I would argue that anything that brings a smile would be considered
a delight wouldn’t you?
I have found that the best way to experience
uncomplicated delight is to give back.
It’s that uncomplicated ~ it is impossible
to be self absorbed if your focus is giving back.
It doesn’t have to be anything extravagant,
remember it’s uncomplicated. Send a friend a card,
pick up flowers from the market, their favorite candy,
drop it off on their porch.
A simple, uncomplicated gesture
brings someone else

Books bring uncomplicated delight. No question.

delight by adding color and life to
something forgotten.
Daisy Do? or Daisy Don’t? Flowers are a simple, happy
uncomplicated delight.
The Scrumptious Summer Sandwiches
speak for themselves…
Wayfaring to Wayfair was a delightful local,
little adventure.
I am looking to continue to grow this delightful publication, it’s so much fun to create!
The hope is to publish on a more consistent basis ~ Life is busy!
I plan to work on that.
Still looking to add interesting topics. I have mentioned “Painting the Artichoke.”
I see that as someone who creatively goes the extra mile. I have also considered “Notable Neighbors.”
Perhaps a neighbor that is exceptional for a variety of reasons.
The simple concept of The Painted Artichoke is to create conversation, positivity and community.

Mother Nature brings me daily Uncomplicated Delight.
For example, learning to grow tomatoes on “the farm,”
the hole in the bottom of the tree… (who lives there?)
a wild flower peeking through the underbrush in the forest.
