Daisy Do? or Daisy Don’t?
I think we consider fresh flowers or a centerpiece as
fussy, or too much effort or
just too costly.
That’s not the case! Flowers bring immediate Uncomplicated Delight!
Please don’t disregard grocery store
flowers. At one time, I was a “grocery store flower snob.”
I was wrong!
Consider Daisies.
There is something to be said about fresh daisies in the summertime,
they bring in brightness, beauty, and perhaps a touch of sunshine?
Many people enjoy fresh flowers in their home that they refresh weekly.
What a wonderful little piece of nature to come home to every day!
I admire that, however not everyone has the time or
inclination for that practice.
Fresh flowers are always the perfect option
as a simple, yet creative centerpiece when entertaining friends or extended family.
Since we are in the midst of the dog days of summer,
I thought a sunny centerpiece made of daisies
might bring delight while adding beauty to your day.
This takes maybe ten minutes of your time ~ quite uncomplicated.
Select three small vases or jars,
place clear glass floral beads in the bottom of the jar, clip your daisies
to barely extend above the vase or jar, add water
and you have created a lovely little arrangement.
If using tea lights, use those with a clear plastic base, if not using tea lights
arrange the daisies to cover the top of the container.
These are small arrangements that could be centered on the table
or strategically placed at each place setting. More often than not,
I set up a buffet setting on the center island in the kitchen, placing
a centerpiece on the buffet rather than the table. It’s simply a matter of preference
