Autumn Apple Raisin Nut Bread

I had fully intended to go to the mountains to
pick apples. “Life is full of good intentions!”
Unfortunately, I didn’t have the time to go
to the mountains for apples.

I went to Nam Dae Mun Farmers Market
for my apples instead. I have no idea if they were local or not.
They were pretty and I brought them home
to make delicious, apple bread.

The Recipe:
1.5 cups - of all purpose flour*
½ t - baking powder
½ t - baking soda
¼ t - salt (pinch)
½ cup - butter; melted
2 - large eggs
½ cup - white sugar
½ cup - brown sugar
1 t - vanilla

I cup - diced apples; peels on
1 cup - raisins
1 cup - chopped walnuts

In a separate bowl, combine the dry ingredients.
Using the mixer, stir the melted butter, eggs sugars and vanilla
in large bowl. Add the dry ingredients
mixing until smooth.
Add the apples, raisins and walnuts
and pour into bread pan lined with parchment paper.
*all purpose flour, not bleached white flour

Bake at 350 degrees until toothpick comes out clean. Approximately
25 minutes.
This is delicious and would be fabulous served warm with butter,
topped with vanilla ice cream, whipped cream ~ or plain!

I shared this with a couple of friends, too. The reviews were
fantastic! This is another recipe that I will make again.
Enjoy!
