The Pumpkin Quest

Welcome to Sleepy Hollow Farm!
I had originally hoped to
go to the mountains to pick fresh apples, however
I couldn’t commit to the entire day for an apple picking adventure!

So instead of an apple quest, Judy and I decided
on a pumpkin quest. Sleepy Hollow Farm
is located in Powder Springs, GA
and approximately 15 - 20 miles
from Interstate 75.

Sleepy Hollow Farm is the home
of the Netflix Sci-Fi series Stranger Things.
The farm has two highly recognizable locations from the show,
Hopper’s Cabin and Merrill’s Pumpkin Patch.

I was completely unaware of that! I was on a quest for
pumpkins and a change of scenery ~
who knew?

We took the tractor pulled trailer ride
through the farm. There was not a Bumpy Hayride ~
I created that image with AI. Looks like fun though, doesn’t it?

They have a beautiful wildflower meadow where
you can pick wildflowers for a fee.

A General Store where they sell local goods,
freshly made pumpkin donuts, fritters,
delicious spreads…

The Farm was a great place to visit ~
the property is beautiful, parking was organized,
the employees were friendly, the service was great,
and most importantly the restrooms were clean!

They offered a varied collection of pumpkins and gourds that were fairly priced.
Chrissy was friendly and helpful
at the checkout.

I would highly recommend a visit to Sleepy Hollow Farm
in Powder Springs, GA.
