It’s the Thrill of the Hunt

I’m working on a project in Marietta that has been such fun, so far!
The client is open to my creative suggestions and that makes my job
the best job ever!

After reading the first edition of The Painted Artichoke, my client told me to get creative with furniture finds, etc.
Since I am such a fan of The Not so Snobby Hobby, I found these chairs on Marketplace

I have named these chairs “The Pink Ladies.” They arrived on the scene approximately 100 years ago, from France.
The poor girls have no seat cushion, and their woodwork is scuffed. They
have certainly lost some of their glamour!

Until now…

The retiring Pink Ladies have been given a second lease on life! They have been transformed into “Saucy Cowgirls!”
The girls have been “Vamped!”

This client grew up in Oklahoma on a dairy farm, so we’re leaning into a little bit of a western vibe.
I cannot wait for the ladies to move into their forever home and live happily ever after!

Once again, the upholstery job is beautiful. Thanks to William Glabers 770-971-3753

Please send photos of your vamping projects! I would love to see them!
