Fresh Beginnings for two Dated Fireplaces

I have been working on a great project for a few months now and thought I would share
a makeover on two fireplaces that were built in 1982.

Both were rather generic, take a look.

This fireplace is in a large great room.

We had a couple of challenges. The client wanted the largest television possible above this mantle, and the outlet
was on the lower left of the fireplace.

The TV must be 18 inches above the opening, so we added an outlet above the mantle, and covered the outlet on the lower left with beautiful millwork. We whitewashed
the brick, installed the TV. This fireplace has a long beautiful life ahead! What a handsome makeover!

Look at how this simple little fireplace is evolving into quite the lady!
We haven’t styled the room yet; however, it will be a stunning formal music room once finished.

This fireplace was a fairly unattractive, very basic fireplace that needed a new sense of style and elegance.

Adding additional trim changed the scale of this fireplace entirely. Dressing it up, we painted the dated brick a high gloss white to match the trim.
Using precise measurements, I created a bespoke mirror collage with the help of
LM Frame and Gallery.

As you can see in the photos, we have installed a chandelier. When we are finished with this music room it will
sparkle with light and sounds of music!

So much more to the come with this room … watch this space, I will keep you posted.
