New Year, New Month, New Beginnings

Every year while hiking during the winter, I go to a place we have tagged “Daffodil Corner.” Typically beginning during the month of February
we start to see the daffodils peeking through the leaves waiting for Mother Nature to welcome them into spring.

Much to my pleasant surprise, the little daffodils have already begun to sprout! I couldn’t help but consider what a chore that is!
The little daffodils pressing itself against the cold, hard earth ~ ugh!
Now that’s perseverance!

I think the easiest New Beginning for me in 2026, is to make the extra effort. It’s the same message The Painted Artichoke
has been promoting in 2025. One small gesture, one extra effort…It’s the Simplest Things…
Look for the same message moving forward!

I hope you enjoy The Winter Edition of The Painted Artichoke; I had such fun putting it together.
I enjoy gathering content and would greatly appreciate it if you offered suggestions!
Just click on the email link below to send story ideas, or
recommend someone who has made that special effort to
Paint the Artichoke.

As usual, please don’t judge the grammar or the spelling! My Junior Editors are not that “tech savvy!”

I hope the “Guilty or Framed?” article inspires you to frame something
making it special.

The recipes in this edition are pretty straightforward and already have rave review!
Hopefully, you will try them!

The fireplace makeovers are still a work in progress. I often have people ask me exactly
what I do, other than hike and cook!
The fireplaces are a very small example.

The visit to Lost Mountain Alpaca Ranch. The title of that article is to be sung to the tune of
Kokomo” by the Beach Boys! : )

Painting the Artichoke. What more can I say? Kind, thoughtful, talented and remarkable women!

I was thinking this morning, that The Painted Artichoke has 53 subscribers. If each subscriber forwarded
this to one friend and they subscribed; we would have 106 subscribers!
(Not rocket science, I know!)

There isn’t a charge for subscribing, I am not selling products. I am simply
encouraging you to live your life Positively and Creatively!

Thank you so much again for taking the time to sit back and read The Painted Artichoke.
