We’re going to start Painting the Artichoke!

Before the paint brushes come out, there are a couple of things I would like to say!

First and foremost, I want to thank you again for taking the time from your busy lives to read this little publication and subscribing! I am not on social media, and as of this morning we have 45 subscribers! How exciting, and what fun!
Thank you, too, for sharing with your friends and family. Please continue to do so!

I am not selling products, nor do I have any agenda except to promote Living Thoughtfully and Creatively!

I am also asking once again for you to overlook any grammatical errors along with any spelling blunders, or typos in this edition of The Painted Artichoke.

My Creative Content Consultant, Pooch fell asleep on the job, so I’ve been working solo!

The Pasta and Peaches recipes are delicious, however the recipe for the Peachy Pasta Salad in my opinion,
would have been better if I had used orzo in the recipe. I just didn’t have any orzo and tried another option…
surprising myself in the process!

The Peach and Ricotta Pasta is fantastic, but I would recommend topping it with
a savory topping such as bacon or prosciutto.

Being a designer for over two decades, I thought I would share a couple of tidbits from current projects.
The first being, Vamps ~ In Waiting!

We have two of these lovely ladies who arrived on the scene in the late 1990’s
and are moving around the corner into a new home.

Not only are they moving, but they are also about to be “Vamped!”
We are bringing these lovely, but outdated chairs into the current decade and if all goes as planned, you will meet the surgically enhanced ladies in the next edition of The Painted Artichoke.
Stay tuned….

Last week, I was speaking to a new friend and subscriber about this little publication, she was so enthusiastic!
Apparently, she writes poetry and has never shared any of her work.
While animatedly talking about her work, and how she creates her poetry - she considered sending
something for me to publish! My response was PLEASE DO!
So, beginning with the next edition of
The Painted Artichoke will have a recurring column titled:
Painting the Artichoke

Painting the Artichoke means Creativity! Creativity in any way, shape or form…
that is appropriate to publish!

Who would paint an Artichoke? We would, that’s who!

It’s that small bit of creativity, that simple thoughtful gesture, that creative energy that makes you smile…

Thank you again and please subscribe and share with your friends and family!
We’re growing a community, sharing our stories and showcasing Creativity as a Lifestyle.

Thanks again so much, and until the next edition…

It’s just the Simplest Things…
