We didn’t begin our recurring column Painting the Artichoke, yet. Quite honestly, we just ran out of time! My friend that wants to share her poetry went on vacation to Spain, and I have been too busy to recruit new contributors. I think I will plan on starting the new column after the holidays.
First of all, I can’t begin to thank you for taking the time from your busy lives to read this little publication. What fun! Please share this with your friends and family, we really want to grow an interactive community. If you haven’t subscribed, please subscribe! Again, I’m not selling products nor do I have any agenda except to promote Living Thoughtfully and Creatively!
The soup in this edition is delicious, and not too difficult to make. I have made both soups twice in the last couple of weeks.
A very special thank you to Loyce Shurling for sharing her time and talent as “The Queen of Halloween!”
I mentioned my accidental garden. I had made an attempt to grow tomatoes from seeds without success. I tossed the unused seedlings into my potted Azealia and didn’t think about them again! Much to my delight, I have two robust tomato plants! I’m sharing grape and cherry tomatoes with anyone who will accept them. It is certainly a bountiful harvest!
What a fun little treat, and I’m pretending to be a farmer!
Once again, I need to ask that you don’t judge the typos, or the grammar. It’s quite difficult to edit your own work, and as you can see - my team is asleep on the job!
I’m already thinking about the next edition of The Painted Artichoke. We have more fabulous furniture finds; I will share some holiday party recipes and ideas. Who knows what is coming next?
